Infrastructure
CMS Academy of Communication & Convergence Studies has impressive infrastructure that contributes typifying its self reliant, autonomous nature and professional pursuit. The Academy is strategically located at Delhi-UP border, Sector 106, Noida. It’s a beautiful campus spread across 1.5 acres of land. The campus has a three storey building that includes all modern educational and extra curricular facilities to aid the learning process at the Academy. The Academy has its office in Saket, Delhi.
Media Lab
The media lab monitors round the clock electronic and print media to give students a better insight into media in terms of agenda. With help of 12 sophisticated monitoring setups and latest research techniques, media lab allows students to conduct extensive researches on various aspects of media.
Computer Centre
The Computer Centre has more than 30 Pentium computers, laptops, laser printers, deskjet color printers, etc. Networked through internet, mail, data and print servers, the Centre offers internet access to students and faculty throughout the campus.
Content Lab
Content Lab is a centre for content development strategies (structures, sources, credibility, delivery, etc.) for different contexts, situations and cross media scenarios.
The Library
The Library has over 6,000 books and reference reports like Economic Survey, CMIE, Human Development Report, National Family Health Survey reports of Census of India, NSO, NSS, and Election Commission. It subscribes to a large number of national and regional dailies, magazines and journals. Scanning, documentation and analysis of contents are done on daily basis. This centre is more a “knowledge management centre” where one can recall any publication or work on any subject online.
Audio-video Resource Centre
The Audio-video Resource Centre at the CMS Academy has over 3,000 documentaries, short films, recordings, news clippings and archives along with preview facilities
Production Studio
The CMS Academy's production studio has separate audio and video facilities with all modern equipments and gadgets. Here students are trained in content generation for implementing various strategies and film making through these facilities.
Auditorium
With a seating capacity of over 200, CMS Academy Auditorium is a state of the art theatre that has ultra modern infrastructure and screening facilities.
Open Air Amphi-theatre
The Academy’s state of the art campus also boasts of an open air amphi-theatre that has a seating capacity over 300. The theatre performing acts as a tool to bring out best capabilities of students through various workshops and trainings. The college theatre group conducts regular performances and public shows to raise awareness on social issues.
Residential Accommodation
CMS Academy offers residential accommodation to outstation students near the campus.
Medical Facility
The Academy campus houses a medical facility room which offers emergency medical care to students.
Canteen
A separate canteen cum recreation area has been created for students inside the campus. The canteen offers hold and cold drinks, snacks and lunches.
