About CMS Academy

Established in 1991, CMS (www.cmsindia.org) is an independent, not-for-profit multi-disciplinary organisation dedicated to research-driven initiatives that enable policy makers to take informed decisions on development and social change to improve quality of life. CMS is widely recognized for the rigour of its study methodologies, innovative approaches towards research initiatives and the credibility of its findings.

Over the past two decades, CMS has emerged as a leading inter-disciplinary professional body with wide-ranging concerns and capabilities in social research, social development studies and strategies for environment protection, communication studies and public opinion research and training and performance appraisal.

The CMS Academy of Communication & Convergence Studies is aimed at developing communication and media leaders through excellence in education and research. The Academy is uniquely designed, research driven, practically relevant and futuristically oriented educational institute. CMS Academy offers full time 11 months PG Diploma course in Strategic Communication and Convergence Journalism.

CMS Academy also conducts professional development courses in fields such as communication, filmmaking, environment services etc. CMS Academy is a distinguished centre and a pro-active national body contributing to the development of a vibrant media in India.

About Moving Images

Moving Images is a group of documentary video filmmakers with a strong interest in development issues and the environment. The team members are from varied backgrounds ranging from academic research to camera work and editing.

Moving Images has over 15 years of experience in making documentaries and training films. Most of the work over the past decade has been in the form of commissioned projects, including professional videos, radio talk shows, still photography assignments and print publications for several National and International agencies. We also make independent films that are not commissioned by any agency, working on issues that are of special interest to us such as films on mountain climbing, wildlife conservation, pastoral issues and water management.
